During the celebrity Q&A, that was literally the only answer she gave. To be fair, only one question was specifically directed to her. She did not chime in on any questions that were open to everyone. Since I had met her at the 2014 Fest, I didn't feel compelled to speak to her again, so apart from her panel presence I didn't interact with her. As far as what kind of vibe I got from her, I didn't get the vibe she was unhappy with the new series (although her prior Twitter rants may have implied this). I did, however, notice that she seemed absolutely not interested in Chrysta Bell's panel answers, despite seeming attentive to everyone else.
To everyone we offended, I hope we can regain your friendship, and end this series on a note of goodwill. Thanks. @CarterBays @HimymCraig" [3] Craig Thomas: I second everything @carterbays just tweeted -- we love all #HIMYM fans and apologize that we caused offense. Length of Series With the show lasting for nine seasons there has been some criticism and jokes about how long the narrator's children must sit and listen to the story. On a season six episode of The Office the importance of having a "how I met your mother story" was mocked. How I Met Your Mother poked fun at themselves in a promo for the ninth and final season, depicting the narrator's children as captives who have been trapped on the couch listening to his story for nine straight years. How I Met Your Mother premiered 10 years ago this week. After nine seasons, most viewers were so focused on the series's polarizing finale that they almost forgot how sneakily innovative the multi-camera sitcom with the multiple flashbacks and flash-forwards was in 2005. Here are some facts about the show, as approved by the Slap Bet Commissioner. 1. TED, MARSHALL, AND LILY ARE BASED ON REAL PEOPLE. When college friends and Late Show with David Letterman writers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas were invited to pitch a network series, they flashed back to 1997, when Bays spent a lot of his time at Thomas's apartment, which he shared with his longtime girlfriend (now-wife) Rebecca, complaining about about being single. In the script, Bays became Ted, Thomas became Marshall, and Rebecca became Lily. Real-life moments like Bays inviting someone to a wedding without realizing he didn't have a plus-one, or calling Rebecca a "bitch" during a brief breakup with Thomas were written into the series.
I find this look into the sibling stories to be fascinating, especially the Liz/Jennifer situation and the Ressler/Robbie one. It was very clear in a rewatch that Jennifer didnt come into Liz's life to for a relationship with her sister. Jennifer had a lot of anger towards Red and Liz, and was jealous of Liz's relationship with Red. Her barely hidden glee while Liz was in tears was so cold. Jennifer used Liz to find the answers she was looking for and left. This whole story of Ressler being the boy scout FBI agent never seemed quite true from the beginning. We see him kick one of Wujing's guys off the scaffolding in the third episode. He had a lot of pent up anger. Then we find out he was part of an attempt to murder Reddington in the past. Ressler acts the part of boy scout, but he has a lot of darkness. I wonder if we will see something more with this storyline of Red and Ressler coming up. Red has saved him twice now from becoming a dirty cop. He is treading a very fine line in whether to side with Liz or whether to capture her.
