From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Chiarello was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at JPMorgan Chase, leading global technology across all lines of business in over 60 countries. In that role he consolidated information systems (including from acquired banks such as Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual) and developed new, more efficient generations of automated teller machines and kiosks. He also developed the award-winning Chase Mobile App Suite. By the time he left the company, that app suite had over 10 million users. His earlier positions include serving as CIO for Morgan Stanley (MS). He began his career in Information Technology in 1981 with the Treasury Department for the State of New Jersey. As a well-established leader in his field he is consistently listed on Institutional Investor 's " Top Tech 50.
